Full Training

Full grooming services Tuesday through Sunday.

Up to 5 training sessions per week, usually consisting of 3 lessons and 2 pro-rides. Each horse will have a program that is tailored to their specific needs.

Regular turnouts, trail rides, and lunging are included weekly as needed for each horse.

Daily blanketing/un-blanketing, water buckets, feeding lunchtime supplements/grain, and feeding an additional hay meal at the end of the day included free of charge. *Supplements/grain to be provided by each client, timothy hay can be provided by Summer Valley and billed accordingly.

All veterinary/farrier/chiropractic appointments will be scheduled and overseen as needed.
Partial Training

3 training sessions per week. Grooming services are available only on lesson/pro-ride days.

Pro-rides and lessons can be used interchangeably.

Lay up/Retirement Care

Designed for horses that will have a layup or a significantly decreased work program exceeding thirty days.

Summer Valley staff will work closely with the veterinarian and your insurance carrier (if needed) to make sure that all of your horse's medical needs are being met and executed properly.

Care may include any or all of the following; hand-walks (2x/day), wrapping, icing, medicating, vet assistance, etc...
